Hello, friend. Thank you for joining me on this virtual coffee date.
Today’s Drink Special: Happy monthiversary to Daniel and Liyah!!
Thank You for Sharing hit shelves exactly one month ago and it has been a wild ride. I had three fantastic events: Third Place Books here in Seattle (we sold every copy in the store!), Annie Bloom’s Books in Portland, and Books Are Magic in Brooklyn. Thank you to the lovely booksellers who made it happen and Jen, Anita, and Victoria for being the best conversation partners. I so deeply appreciate every single person who came to support me — from the romance lovers who I’d never met before to the friends and family and friends of family for whom this will be their first romance novel. I absolutely love doing these, even though the adrenaline high makes it difficult to eat, and I hope to do many more. I know there’s at least one left this fall (👀).
Thank you to everyone who has bought or checked out a copy, and an extra thank you to everyone who has reached out through text, DM, or website contact form to let me know that you enjoyed the book. It means the world. I can’t put it all into words, honestly, but this entire thing has been surreal. My anxiety leading up to launch was immense. I truly thought I wouldn’t be able to enjoy any of it, but pub day and my teeny tiny book tour ended up being two of the most exciting weeks of my life. And it’s all because of you!!
I am on a much needed Instagram hiatus until November, but you can catch me very occasionally posting on threads.
Everyone has been asking me what’s next—all I can say right now is that Book 2 will be out next fall. I promise to tell you more as soon as I can. In the meantime, you can buy Thank You for Sharing wherever books are sold in the US or the UK and you can always order signed & personalized copies from Third Place Books.
From the very bottom of my heart, thank you.

A Biscotti with Your Coffee
Music BAD BUNNY’S NEW ALBUM DROPS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!! Today for me, really, because I’m on the West Coast. Since May, I’ve assumed the album would be called Nadie Sabe because of the billboard at the end of the WHERE SHE GOES music video, so I was on the right track. And now Apple Music posted a hangman-style word puzzle tracklist and I desperately wish I could actually speak Spanish because I love new Bad Bunny music and I love word puzzles!! Like this marketing was made for me!!! Why did I take French in high school!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean there are very few letters filled in so I probably wouldn’t get it regardless lmao. Anyway I probably am only gonna listen to that for like a week once it drops so there’s no point in me pretending to give y’all different recommendations.
Books I am listening to You Made a Fool of Death with Your Beauty on audio and if you like traumatized, messy, witty heroines (you’re subscribed to my newsletter so I’m sure you do) you are in for a TREAT. I’m also reading an eARC of The Partner Plot by Kristina Forest and oh my god. Oh my god. If you thought the characters in The Neighbor Favor were hot, you’re going to pass out this time. Of course it’s also incredibly tender and written beautifully because it’s Kristina. I also don’t think it’s a spoiler to say this because it’s in the prologue but y’all it’s a second chance where the MCs have matching tattoos????? Between this book and Will They or Won’t They I think that’s a top two microtrope for me.
Anyway, I know this was a lot of me rambling. But while I am an author, I can’t always find the right words. I’ll say the most important ones one last time: thank you.
Mwah,

P.S. Happy birthday, Patrick. I love you so big.
Happy one month birthday to Thank You for Sharing!! I loved You Make a Fool of Death (although I read a physical copy, so maybe I need to check out the audio at some point) and I am SO jealous that you're getting to read The Partner Plot early!!! I loved The Neighbor Favor a ridiculous amount.
