Hello, friend! Welcome to this virtual coffee date.
Today’s Drink Special: Barnes & Noble Pre-order Sale!
If you haven’t preordered yet, there’s no time like the present. For 25% off, head on over to Barnes & Noble and use the code PREORDER25 at checkout, now through Friday. If you submit your receipt, you can get some goodies for your trouble.
If you’re buying a ton of books, pre-order sales like this are a great opportunity! It lets you save some money while also supporting authors by communicating to booksellers and publishers alike that there’s interest in the title. More pre-orders means bookstores will carry more copies of my book, which leads to more in-store sales later on. And, because we’re less than a week out from launch, you barely have to wait to get your book!
A reminder that if you’d rather support an indie over a big box store (highly encouraged hot girl behavior, though I do understand that budget doesn’t always allow), you can pre-order signed and personalized copies from Third Place Books. You can also order it through your local indie’s website to support them! If you do that, don’t forget to submit your receipt.
Anyway, self-promo is an extremely uncomfortable part of this job for me, but it’s necessary. I put a lot of work into this book. I genuinely think it’s good. I care about these characters. It would mean the world to me if you spent $18 (or $13.50, if you use the sale) pre-tax to support my work.
A Biscotti with Your Coffee
I am admittedly not reading a lot right now. Too much nervous excitement. BUT my partner and I have started Suits on Netflix (re-watch for me, first time for him) and I find it just as delightful as I did on first brush. I understand all its flaws, but I enjoy it so much. And any one of the women in that show could hit me with her car and I’d thank her. Especially Jessica Pearson. Gotdamn.
Mwah,
